Digital photography has become popular these days, such that almost anyone has to capability to catch a photo anywhere, anytime. However, most people are not familiar with the science the allowed such capability. Albert Einstein and his discovery of the principles of the photo-electric effect that allowed such cameras to exist. He has discovered that exposure to light causes materials to produce a measurable electric current. For those familiar with the solar power panels, this is the effect in practice. However, solar cells deal with the gross power of light. Digital cameras deal with the small differences of frequencies and intensities of light. Light that appears white is actually a mixture of different colors of light. Different colors of light have different frequencies. Different frequencies produce corresponding electric currents. A digital camera has a device called the CCD or Charge-Coupled Device that reacts to light and captures multicolored images.

Digital pictures are pictures are easy to manipulated and there are software that allow people to make funny pics with photos. There are websites that offer the use of these software cheaply. Thus, people can now make a funny photo online. These funny pics online have the same quality as some professionally done effects.
